The Sharon Alcorn Bursary

The Sharon Alcorn Bursary is offered in memory of Sharon Alcorn, a passionate advocate for women who worked at Mackay Women’s Center (now known as Mackay Women’s Services).

This bursary provides financial support to assist women in achieving their educational goals.

Important: There is no fixed monetary amount; the Alcorn family will decide the level of assistance awarded to the successful applicant.

How to Apply: Applications will be reviewed as they are received. The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2026. To apply, please email your completed application to business@dvrs.org.au or complete the application form online.
